I start CDL classes here in Oklahoma in two weeks and just remembered that I have a speeding ticket in which I was going between 1-10 over. The ticket was Dec 26th 2015. Do you think this is something that I need to list and explain when filling out applications after graduation? I would think that over 4 years years ago for a minor violation would be enough time to have it removed from my MVR but im not sure.

Hey everybody! Im hoping I can get some tips from Pros. Im VERY seriously considering getting my CDL and Haz/Tank endorsements through an accredited school in Drumright OK. Im in my mid twenties and live in Cushing Ok ("Pipelines Crossroads of the world") and am wanting to become a Crude Oil driver/gauger that transports Crude Oil from leases to transport stations. I understand that most Crude Oil companies require some tanker experience before they allow you to haul Hazmat. And I've heard that the best way to get your foot in the door is to start off hauling water/sand for the first six months or year. Does anybody here know of any companies in my area that would be willing to give a greenhorn a chance in hauling Tanker right out of school that isn't OTR? Or what kind of experience would be best for somebody seeking that position?
