Last August 2019, while I was waiting at a light, I had a pickup truck hit the car in back of me and push that car into my back bumper. Of course, I wasn't at fault and I got my car fixed free of charge. This week, I just went to apply for a class A driving job and was told their insurance was charging them high rates to insure me because of that accident. I don't know what to do. I've tried calling the state Texas (where it happened) and my insurance company (Progressive) but no one seems to have an answer for me. How do I take care of this so this accident stops affecting the insurance rates for any trucking company I apply at? I can't even believe I'm going through this.
