Venture Express was founded by Mr. Jimmy Allen in 1981 with a single truck, now grown into more than 500 power units.

Headquartered in Lavergne, TN, Venture Express is primarily a dry-van truckload carrier that hauls automotive production and service parts for high-volume, time sensitive shippers that demand safe delivery of their products in a 24/7/365 capacity.

• Must be 23 years or older
• No DUIs in previous 7 years
• No Careless driving or reckless driving on MVR (3 years)
• Cannot be involved as a defendant in an active felony case or a misdemeanor involving assault to another person or involving drugs.
• No at fault rear end collisions, rollover accidents, or jackknife accidents in the previous 3 years.
• No more than a combination of 3 moving violations or at fault accidents in the previous 3 years.
• An acceptable PSP score
• No speeding citations of 15 mph or more over the posted speed.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Must be able to pass a road test administered by Venture Express
• Must meet all qualifications in section 391.11 of the FMCSA regulations handbook.
• 12 months experience in the past 3 years pulling a 53' van if for van fleet of which 6 months must be OVER THE ROAD. (school counts as time served)
• 12 months experience in the past 3 years pulling a flat bed with 6 months hauling steel coils of which 6 months must be OVER THE ROAD if for flat bed (school counts as time served)
• If they have ever been employed by Venture Express they must have been gone for a minimum of 6 months and must have left in good standing.

• Medical/Prescription Coverage:
  Employees are covered under a Major Medical Health Plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield beginning the first of the month following a 30 day waiting period.

  Venture Express offers an FSA benefit for all employees who have reached their 1 year anniversary date with Venture Express and are full-time, benefits eligible employees. An FSA account will allow you to payroll deduct up to $5,000 in a tax-deferred benefit that would be used for reimbursement of eligible healthcare expenses including deductibles, co-pays, prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, etc.
• Dependent Care Expense Accounts:
  Venture Express offers a DCA benefit for all employees who have reached their 1 year anniversary date with Venture Express and are full-time, benefits eligible employees. A DCA account will allow you to payroll deduct in a tax-deferred benefit that would be used for reimbursement of eligible daycare expenses.
