1939 - Coastal Transport & Trading Company was founded by Boise Federwitch and Morris Rushing.
1968 - Jerry Wilson, B. J. Herrin and R. L. (Bob) Bryant purchase the company. They add 25 tractors and 50 trailers to its fleet.
1986 - Coastal Transport & Trading becomes a part of Comcar Industries, Inc. They now operate 70 tractors and 120 flatbed trailers as Coastal Transport (CT).
1997 - CT adds the 500th truck to its fleet, making it one of the largest privately-held flatbed carriers in the nation.
No felonies within the last 10 years.
