1950's: Koch Companies is started as a manufacturer's representative of chain, cable, rope, twine and other related products.

1978: Stan Koch buys his first truck to transport hardware for Koch industries from a distributor in Findley, OH.

1981: The fleet of trucks is increased to 10 as Stan's sons Jim, Randy, and Dave come on board.

2007: Koch Maritime is formed for overseas shipments.

2010: Koch Trucking has over 700 trucks on the road, over 2000 trailers leased and 1500 trucks leased out.

Getting Hired At Koch Trucking, Inc.

Koch Trucking, Inc. Minimum Hiring Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of Class A CDL experience
  • Must have driven 6 months within the last 24 months.
  • No more than 4 moving violations within the last three years
  • A minimum of 21 years of age
  • Haz-Mat endorsement is encouraged but not required. We will reimburse the cost of the endorsement.
  • No major chargeable accidents within the last 36 months and no more than three chargeable minor accidents in the last three years or 2 in the past 12 months.
  • No DWI's or DUI's within the last five years and only one allowed.

  • Hiring Drivers With Felonies

    Must be at least 5 years from conviction, reviewed case-by-case.

  • Hiring Drivers With A DUI

    DUI/DWI needs to be 5 years old and no more than one offense in a lifetime.
