Anyone Willing to Do A Ride Along For a Rusty CDL Driver?
What will they offer you to get your CDL back ? Only asking since State requires you to go through a certified CDL class to prove you know how to drive a CDL truck. Yes it will cost you $ but most times it'll be a quick spin around the block done within couple hours and you're on your way. I don't know what you're thinking but a drive along with a random trucker will NOT get you your CDL back ! Aside from the obvious med card & drug test.

How serious are you to land a CDL job ? No -Fault is trivial for getting a CDL job. Are you willing to travel/move ? If no one is willing to give you a chance in your area, its time to look elsewhere ! Be willing to be open to job type & location ! once you you have your foot in the door as a CDL driver with record, more doors will open, trust me !
You may make more money by moving to work for another company that NEEDS drivers, location location. Don't just look into your neighborhood for work, look 5 states out or the whole USA ! Again you can accept the faith & dollar amount you choose to live in or look elsewhere for a better paying job !

To be honest if you all consider throwing single chains for Donner Pass is needed or a Wow thing. I've never traveled Donner Pass but single chains is a oh wow to you folks, I'm sorry but driving in oilfield hills with ice/mud fully chained up digging in an still sliding off the road into a hill, puts your single chains to a " Ok whatever Boy ! " I think I'll be able to pass Donner pass no problem with my chaining ability even in its worst conditions . Ok I may be ****y but given years of driving in winter conditions all my life and on solid ice with 105K+ I'd think Donners Pass would be ok with chains , I've never traveled it so I have no clue but I think it may be over rated ?

Looks like singles to me & Sh!77y style Chains too that I'd rather throw away on the side of the road. You want to bang your chest, Come talk to me when you throw all doubles (triple rails) for drives & steers , with question chaining trailer for drag in the hills. To be honest that style of chains suck, I'd gladly leave them on the roadside after use ! FYI I'm no stranger to throwing chains, it was a all year thing for me, even every load 4 times per day, I can get them tight to a point you can not put a finger between the chains an tire ! ok maybe that finger but no more.

Any Owner Ops working in the Oil Fields?
The oil field is in Texas. The market appears to be really good down there right now. The terrain is flat but the roads are terrible. I don't know if I can get away with a hightop or if I need a lower roof. A blower is required (not vacuum). I'm aware of the volatility. I have back up plans in place to offset that.
forgive me for my ignorance as to what you call ' Hightop or Blower " this may be a slight difference as to what each call something (Location) What do you mean by those ? - " Hightop - Blower " I'm from ND oilfield.

Made a mess. Spot the problem?
I do not do OTR, though should not matter with these rules apply to all truckers ! In my field if its shiny = inspect it as to why its shiny, more times its loose/play in it.
any unexplained splatter on the truck/trailer you should explore & find out what is the reason for those spots ! Are they hydraulic leak or load leak ?
