Good trucking companies in the south?
I'm thinking about relocating before retirement. A few cities like Nashville, Atlanta, and Raleigh have been on my mind. Mostly just want a change of scenery and want to get farther away from the cold. Does anyone know of any reputable places down south? I'm familiar with Beacon Transport and M&W in Nashville - heard great things about both.
Any tips? Anyone live in these cities or worked in the area for a while? Thanks!

Definitely heartbreaking and humbling to read. My prayers are with the family.

I used to work in IT/web development before deciding to switch industries halfway through my career. I wouldn't be concerned. Chances are that they're upgrading or doing some maintenance to the network internally. Contact your recruiter to get it figured out, but don't stress out too much :)

ABC News report last night regarding sleep deprived truck drivers
http://abcnews.go.com/US/danger-forcing-truck-drivers-drive-sleep-deprived-exposed/story?id=25544862
Great story - thanks for sharing. Personally, I'm a little paranoid about sleep. I'm very conscious about getting my full 8 hours every night, especially if I've run or worked out whenever I'm not on the road. REMEMBER, though, that the media exaggerates almost everything.
Sure, there are truck drivers that probably shouldn't be driving, but I wouldn't call it an epidemic or anything like that. You'll find slackers or irresponsible people in any industry...

Hello all. I was wondering if all truck stops have WiFi, or if it's better to get a portable WiFi (like a MiFi) in case some truck stops don't?
Personally, I'd recommend getting portable WiFi. I used to use public/paid WiFi all the time, but in December of last year, someone was able to hack or track my activity - they gained access to my personal info and spent nearly $200. The same thing happened in April of this year. Fortunately, I was able to get the money back and file a police report.
Long story short: I think you're better off getting portable WiFi just for YOU. This way, you can ensure that you're info is secure (use a VPN, too) and reduce the risk of unwanted eyes seeing what you're doing online ;) Just my two cents.

Looking for work in Nashville, any suggestions?
I recently moved to Nashville after many years of thinking about relocating. I'm currently looking for work but want to pick somewhere to finish my career out. I've done a little research and found M&W Logistics Group, anybody know anything about them? Looking to get more details and information from the inside. Thanks!
