Post Trucking Company Orientation: Training Days Begin
I just finished with my trainer and I have to say I had a great experiance with him. From day one I was behind the wheel and logged 2100 miles + a week, I did everything, if I did not know how to do it he took time to explain it to me then had me do it. We ran with his dispatcher (not the training one I have now) so we got all his loads.

Not calling back, then when she did..thinking I was in school last week. It's okay for now..finally scheduled June 1st.
Hey ty1on2 here. I had the same problem with Averitt Trucking. The recruiter is joke. He said he would call me back on Tuesday , this was Thursday. said the his boss was on vacation, lol. So Tuesday comes around No Call. I called him, no answer. The next day I tried him again, no answer. So I called my school and they called him from there number and he answered the phone. He told them he would call me on Wed., LOL no call. So I know what you mean when comes to recruiters. I guess I will see you on June 1st if you go to PA for training.
Must be that recruiter, I called Averitt on a Monday, she took my info over the phone and set up a phone interview for the following day at 0900, after the interview was told recruiter will get back with me on the results; by that afternoon the recruiter called me back and had me set up for orientation by the next Monday with hotel resevations and all???

Got this off of Averitt's page... "Did you know that if you are or were employed within the past year (12 months) in a military position requiring the operation of a military motor vehicle equivalent to a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV), you are eligible for a waiver to apply for a CDL without skills testing? "
