Jerks at truck stops

Well... Did you ever consider it from this point of view? Perhaps... and I say perhaps... They were just sitting there chuckling and remembering when they were in the same shoes you are wearing now. If it were me and I was watching I would be remembering that once I was doing the exact same thing. This applies to any learned skill in life not just backing your truck.

A month of trucking with Daniel B.

Watched your video... Man what a bombed out depressing looking place you were in. I thought only third world areas looked that bad. Looks like every day scenery here in Central America.

Nice job on the tight squeeze though. Sorry to hear they are messing your schedule about. Maybe you will smooth out after the holidays.

Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=R7KxQuDcRkE

They are between 4 and 5 hundred to buy now. You will have to pass credit check with AT&T. The end result... true unlimited data.

Researched Links on DOT approved/unapproved drugs and meds

Phencyclidine (PCP) ? People still do that? Had not even heard the name since the 70s.

As for illegal or recreational use... Whatever you do to your body is up to you. Just don't do it when you can be a menace to others. I don't even take aspirin unless I am near death. Drug screen is the last of my worries.

What type of drug testing is done at major trucking companies?

Sad to say it but if you are worried about a drug test... You probably should not consider driving as a career. I read what Brett wrote but still... I am pretty sure they are screening for THC, cocaine, meth, and opiates... If you don't have a scrip then diazapam, alprazolam, and clonazepam use should also keep you from driving. Had a tooth removed you should have dental records that would support taking something for that and should be justified.

Driving a rig is all about safety.. I for one don't want to see someone that should be in rehab behind the wheel.
