So screwed on the drug test

Thank you for your kind words Brett. It means a lot right now. Your response was what I have come to expect from this forum; why this is the resource it is;and why I hold a high respect for all the contributors here. I harbor no ill will towards schneider; they are doing what they have to do in this situation. Hopefully this will resolve itself and I can join your ranks.

So screwed on the drug test

Schneider is going to retest if there is enough material for a retest. It was the first time doing this for the girl that collected the sample but there was a more experienced woman in there with her. I think what hurts the most is getting placed in the category of people trying to sneak by on the drug tests. I have always been on the straight and narrow and have taken tons of drug tests in my life because as a printer my company was certified as a drug free workplace. They always tested me and 2 others for random tests because they knew we would test negative and therefore meet the governments requirements for testing. I never tested positive for anything even alcohol.

So screwed on the drug test

Yea the last time I smoked pot or did any thing else was 1978. I've always made sure im not anywhere near when she smokes and plenty of time had lapsed when I reenterred the room. I dont even smoke or drink. This has just wrecked my world. I guess that never shaving my underarms the hair was just super long and maybe contained a longer term exposure. I will look into contesting this but that may be a waste of time. It justs hurts that i busted my butt working 40-48 hours a week at my regular job and going to tech school full time to accomplish this and it's gone in a moment. I do appreciate this forum for all the good advice and help i received to get this far. at 55 this is just a hard blow.

So screwed on the drug test

Headed back home from schneider bulk orientation today for hair follicle fail for pot. The only problem is I don't do drugs ever. My girlfriend smokes pot to help with pain management but we don't sleep in same room and I get the hell away when i get a whiff of it. My problem is going forward I've went from being a great candidate with about 15 prehires to being a pariah.new grad with doubles haz tanker twice. Do I have any options? Passed regular drug test but had long hair under arms they used for test because I wasn't worried about passing it. Is there any hope?

Had a great day today thanks to this forum!

I really want to say thanks to all the great people that make this forum what it is. Due to all the info gathered here, I passed my tests today and am headed to the dmv tomorrow for my shiny new cdl A license with all endorsements ( they were closed today dang it). Headed to schneider 5/5/15 to go yank some tanks. I look forward to starting a new career and with the advise gathered here this transition will be much easier. Thanks again!!

Dot Foods first interview

One of my friends works for them and has nothing but good to say about them. hard to get on with them but good equipment and benefits. they have a no bs 50000 guarantee first year. He made 53200. Its hard work to unload truck but have better docks than say dollar general accounts(mainly grocery stores)and you have usually two or three stock clerks to help unload you. I have an interview with them 4/21 hope

this helps

Roehl Transport - On The Job Training

Roehl is on my short list too but from what I understand you have to sign a contract even if you already have a cdl. If you leave before 6 months you will have to pay 3150 for training. I can under stand this if you go through their school but for someone with a cdl already this seems a bit extreme. I hope this is not the case. I have a call in to my recruiter about this but have not gotten a reply yet. Will update when I find out.
