Is 700 miles a day possible

I have heard some drivers go 700 miles per day. I did not think that would be possible, considering all the variables that can slow you down on the highway. Can somebody explain how 700 miles is possible? thank you

Medical help for pets on truck

I am about to bring my cat on the truck with me. I would like to hear from drivers who have had their pets on the truck for some time, how do you get you dog or cat to the vet when you are on a load hundreds of miles from your own vet, and your truck won't be able to park at the vets office in the city you are next to?

Does the state suspend CDL when medical card expires

I would like to know from everybody. Do states suspend the CDL when the medical card expires, or do states do different things. When my medical card expired Alabama suspended my CDL, and would not reinstate it until I sent them a copy of my new medical card.

Face masks at truck stops

Since I have not been on the road since December, can anybody give me some advice as to if Love's, Pilot, or T/A make it mandatory to wear face masks while fueling or making a purchase in the store?

Coronavirus in a new truck

If a driver turns in his truck, and he has the virus, will the company clean the truck sufficiently enough so when the truck is assigned to another driver, he is not exposed to the virus, along with his dog or cat

Smart Freight Express in Griffith IN

I have been accepted as a driver by Smart Freight Express in Griffith IN. They said they will reimburse me up to $100.00 for the trip up from Alabama to Indiana. They will accept my cat from day 1. Does anybody know anything about them. Are they great, good, fair, poor or whatever?

Keeping pets away from petals

I have never had a pet on a truck, but next week I will have my cat. He is 2. How do you keep a cat away from the petals at your feet? I don't have a clue except to keep them in the bunk area. But that feels like it would put them in confinement all day. That isn't fair to them.

Need advice from truckers with pets on truck

I am about to take my cat on board, and he has never ridden on a truck before. He is 2 years old. Is there any special thing I should do to make him more relaxed so he can get used to being on a moving truck.

How to get a suspended CDL reinstated

According to Texas state law a CDL will be automatically suspended for 1 year for leaving the scene of an accident. My CDL was suspended last April for that, and will be reinstated in. 3 months. But a cop said I knocked over a metal pole that had a stop sign and street sign on it. And my wife was in the passenger seat and said I didn’t do it. I never heard anything. Does anybody have a suggestion of how I could get my CDL back sooner? I couldn’t afford a trucking legal service at the time.

Does anybody know how the expungement process works. Can a do the process myself to get the two tickets removed from my record. And what do the courts accept as a valid reason?

Companies that take accidents

In November 2016 I knocked over a metal pole that had a stop sign and street sign on it. I did not notice this and drove on to my pickup point. 30 minutes later an officer approached my truck and told me what I had done. He wrote up an accident form and left. He also wrote 2 tickets the next day for leaving scene of accident, and careless driving. My CDL was suspended in April this year. My CDL will be reinstated in April 2018. Western Express told me they are a second chance company, and Central Oregon Transport said they would take me also. I even considered letting my CDL go and going through another trucking company who trains. I though that might be easier. Any suggestions anyone.
