Yes, since you are no longer medically fit to drive.
Depends on the state. In NC, when I was denied a new medical card, I was able to keep my CDL with a restriction on it.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Idaho gives you 45 days past your date the medical is due before they shut down your card. So plenty of time to get it done and turned in to them.

I would like to know from everybody. Do states suspend the CDL when the medical card expires, or do states do different things. When my medical card expired Alabama suspended my CDL, and would not reinstate it until I sent them a copy of my new medical card.
