What size duffel bags to take when you're with a trainer ?

You have to fit your stuff in something the size of a kitchen cabinet and maybe a little room under the bunk... Pack light and only what you need for training to get you through till you get home with your own truck... Search for Daniel b light weight truck and probably half that space would be yours...

Thank you Scott

I've read the article on what should be taken when joining a trainer on the road but I am wondering on what size of a bag or bags should I take. Thanks for any advice.

Starting Classes Tomorrow!

I start school on the 21st and have already gotten 4 pre-hires. Some companies have said to call back when I start school and some have said call closer to completion of school. I kind of felt like I was jumping the gun but even the companies that said call back later said it's never to early. Good luck in school.

Recently completed orientation @ Con - Way Truckload

I can't speak from personal experience about Con-Way, but from what I've been told by a relative who has driven for them for 10+ years now. From what he has told me to keep a long story short Con-Way (at least recently) is starting to chop their own heads off per se. They jacked up their rates they are charging to ship freight and of course are chasing off a lot of places who can go elsewhere for cheaper. If he wasn't getting paid as much as he is there he would have left a long time ago.

Hopefully your experience is better with them than what I have been told, I personally wouldn't want to drive 4-5 hours to a hub then work on the dock for a few hours then drive back, but thats me xD.

Best of luck with CW.

Isn't Conway Truckload and Conway Freight two different things...what you describe driving and working dock sounds like Conway Freight...
