Trucker Kearsey 's Bio

Hi guys! I started my trucking career right here on TT and it led me to Prime Inc. After serving 7 years as a team trainer and 3 years as a CDL instructor. I decided to leave Prime.

I now drive reefer for a meat packing plant at Greater Omaha Express aka GO Express. I absolutely do not regret my decision. The company is great and there is plenty of miles!

Brett... what if I took it over? I have a computer guy in my family with servers and security.. Decades of amazing info.. especially high road is worth saving.

The domain isnt up for renewal for a few months... but if u allow me to take it over... i can create a new design and forum but keep some of the great the info available.

Think about it please.

Trucking Truth Closing October 1st – What An Incredible Ride!

Wow. Would you believe 10 yrs ago today i stepped on the bus for Prime. It flew by.

Thank you to Brett and all of you who helped and supported me. I become a great driver and mentor due to what i learned here. Some of my best friends i met on this site, so i will be forever grateful.

It is crazy to think of all the love and support and even fighting and drama we have had over the years. But always assumed we would be here.

I wish i had time to take it from Brett. The traffic is terrific. And the friendships lasting. Maybe we can talk.

Stay safe to you all.

Free CDL school with Saturdays off in AZ for newbies?

Dock to driver is a good option. Logistically it is a nightmare for dispatchers at OTR companies to try to cement a particular day off. Customer delays, weather, accidents all cause havoc with our schedules.

Questions on Applying & Company Choice

Not so fast... i am pretty sire Washington requires the company to actually have a terminal in the state. For this reason, Prime stopped taking washington people and one of my students transferred their license to OR for a short time.

Workout / Fitness: OTR

Hi. I'm in no way regemented or as oragnized as you. I have a list thus far of 52 PF with parking.

I do the 30 min circuit when i don't have time. Treadmill, bike.. ab machines, hip machines. Basically using all the ab equipment. Been doing 12 to 15 reps, 3 sets each. Tricep press and pull downs. Tryjng to get rid of my old lady arms. I need go keep a variety or i wont keep it up. I habe extremely muscular legs for a woman so i have been focusing on abs & arms. The core roller incline bench thingy omg.. did i feel that.

I went from a size 22 to a size 10. Very happy and motivated.

I think a part of it is HOS, trip planning, and changing technology. Local guys start, drive, park usually the same time every day. They also drive areas they learn fairly well. OTR causes you to constantly be in unfamiliar areas, deal with rotating schedules and managing those hours differently.
