I would suggest reaching out to flatbed companies who train and offer cdl programs first before paying for an outside school. That way you know specifically if they'll hire you with the drug charge and there is less chance of there being any surprises or financial investment.
The industry is tough right now and many companies are tightening their belts and holding fast on more stringent hiring requirements which could include a certain amount of time released from the charge before they'll even consider you.

What’s goin on truckers! New here and just looking for some up to date info. I’m looking at applying for private CDL school but I have a misdemeanor drug charge from 2023. Everything about the charge is complete. The recruiters sent out my app to a few companies that I see a lot of mixed reviews on (W.E, Werner, May, Covenant and a few more) and also I truly want to drive flatbed. Are there any flatbed companies that will touch me and train out of school?
