Team Driving and Hobbies?

I'm thinking about going team. I'm sure this is answered elsewhere here, but I cannot find it. I'm just curious, for anyone who is driving team and not married to the other driver, what do you do when the other person is driving (besides sleep)?

DUI

I've got a friend (and no it is not me), who wants to get into trucking. He, however, has two DUIs. The newest one according to him is 4 years old, and the other is not long before that. How long, if ever, does he have to wait to become hirable to a trucking company? Again, this is not me. I've never drank a drop in my entire life.

Dealing with divorce

Thanks everyone! This has helped. I'm not a social person in the sense of being outgoing, but I do enjoy being around people I know and listening to them. I think I'll struggle with that a bit, especially in light of the divorce.

Dealing with divorce

I'm going to be starting training with Prime Inc in a week and a half. I'm wondering if anyone has had to deal with divorce while out on the road? That is what I just went through. I'm not a social person, but I'm wondering how you deal with the inevitable loneliness that comes along with the road and divorce? Btw, I don't have parents any more and my extended family is limited.

Don't Want Home Time

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I can't find it. I'm considering going into the trucking industry. My cousin is a truck driver, and I have gone out with him on a few rides in the past. I basically have no family outside of my cousin, and I am not a very social person. I was wondering if a company will force you to take home time? If they do not, will this result in higher mileage? Does anyone have experience living exclusively and extensively (a year or more) in their truck?
