Stuff happens sometimes. I really doubt they're bringing you in for your first event.
I concur with that. However it’s still a viable learning lesson. Anticipating a light change, etc.
I understand that. Wasn't trying to shut that down, I was replying to Jamie's comment about possibly being brought in for extra training. As a former Schneider driver with some experience in being brought in to talk about hard braking events, I just thought I'd mention that I doubt it would happen for a first time event. I think it's repeat offenders who get a special invitation to visit the OC.

So I just had a guy next to me knock on my door. Period.
Hey, the guy parked next to you, realized you had a reefer running so he asked if you needed it on, you said yes so he moved. Sounds reasonable to me.

I assume from the title that you're worried about your son. I don't know anything about Crete, but if the situation is that his trainer has threatened to leave him on the side of the road, it's most likely just talk. Like Spaceman said, tell us more about what's going on.

A lot of forums have the top thread of each forum on the main page. That way if you had a separate forum for news, we'd be able to see the latest news post on the top level page. And we'd be able to see when other less active forums had a new post without having to go in to each one. But I used to do some programming to customize forum software so I know that some of these things can slow down the site. Or maybe what I'm talking about already exists somewhere and I've missed it? Anyway, that's what I'd like to see.

Troopers force truckers to climb on top of trailers during snow removal enforcement blitz.
This sucks. I can see that it's a safety issue, but they're making drivers responsible for something they can't control, except by refusing to move a trailer with snow on it.
Our company got a new Yeti snow remover, which is like one of those blades you drive under except that it has something like a snowblower on top. But it's been out of service a lot. You have to drive under it *very* slowly, and after having it a while they decided that it needs someone plowing the snow away from the bottom after each use, just like the blade kind.
Someone needs to come up with a good solution for this. Maybe there's some money to be made there.

That sounds like an understandable mistake. Do you get dispatched on a qualcomm or something? I always get a route to my next destination on the qualcomm even if I've been there a hundred times, partly because I like the display of how many miles to go, but also because it shows me I'm heading to the right place and I didn't misread something.
The problem is our dispatch will leave the final destination on the Qualcomm and not the destination you are dropping the load at.....and our navigation on Qualcomm aint the greatest and we were told not to follow it....
and as Brett said, this is my failure, I could have asked questions on the destination of the load if I had realized it was that close to the company terminal....
Well, just to clarify, you wouldn't have to follow the qualcomm gps route, but by having it up on the screen you can still tell if you're heading in the right general direction, and if you arrive at the right place. But if the qualcomm isn't set up to route you to your destination then I guess this idea doesn't work for you.
Also, I said it was an understandable mistake because you call your terminal 'Loudon' and the message said to drop at Loudon. But there's no question it was your mistake. I agree with everything Brett said. We all work to provide a shipping service and the driver is the last chance for QC before the load starts moving, so double check everything. The last thing I do before starting out is to turn around (or look in the mirror) and check the trailer number against the paperwork one last time. Anyway the qualcomm thing is just another "check" on myself that I thought I'd share.

I ran over a kitchen sink!
Good thing it was only ceramic.
Watching your video led me to spend an hour watching other videos about "people having bad days".
