That's because too many of you have escaped and are now residing in those areas you have described...smile.gif

Born and raised in Western Washington. Alaska, Texas and Tennessee before finding my home in the wide open spaces filled with mountains, plains, snow and sunshine, the headwaters of the mighty MO and the only state in the country that has rivers eventually end up in 3 different seas. Atlantic, Pacific and the Gulf of Mexico.

double-quotes-end.png

SAY WHAT???

I have a close friend that migrated to Montana from San Diego. He sends me pictures of beautiful deer crossing the grass lands, big beautiful shots of open blue skies, and small, homely, little towns where everybody knows one another. I tells me how peaceful it is up there. How the government don't bug them and no stupid EPA laws like in The Nation of California.

Every time I look at all those pictures, and there are hundreds, all I see is an;

EMPTY, LONELY, NONSOCIAL, SNOW COVERED, WIND BLOWN, COLD A$% STATE.

I LIKE PEOPLE, IN FACT, I LOVE THE CALIFORNIA POPULATION, AS A WHOLE. WE GOT SOME KNUCKLEHEADS, BUT THE MAJORITY OF CALIFORNIANS ARE OPEN MINDED, PROGRESSIVE, INTELLIGENT, CARING PEOPLE, IF YOU DON'T COUNT L.A..

Its OK though, we are just ahead of our third word neighbors, New Mexico, Washington, Wyoming, Montana, etc., etc.

Keep on keeping On, My Brother Trucker

SORRY AGAIN, I MEANT, "WORLD", NOT "WORD" IN THAT NEXT TO LAST LINE.... sorry.gif

I'm from La La Land. : D

I've so much to say, but so little space. Now if you read my post in its entirety, you no doubt realize that if your posted photo is truly you, then I must take this opportunity to say to you, "you are gorgeous".

If only you had been born with "Hair As Black As Coal", you would be perfect in my book. But i digress,

Now, I went on

Google Maps

, (little shout out to my faves). I looked up Southwick, MA. I checked the satellite image and I have one burning question,

WHY?

Why did Massachusetts feel the need to scoop out that small section of Connecticut? I mean come on, your border with Connecticut could have been a continuous straight line. You could have share that pond. We here in,

The Nation Of California

were kind and shared Lake Tahoe with Nevada. We are not a greedy country. We Californians play well with other countries.

So what was in that small pouch that MA just had to have????

I won't be able to sleep tonight until I know.....confused.gifwtf-2.gif

Born in God's hand print(Michigan), now in West Columbia, SC I have a friend who lived in Escondido.

It appears, my good fellow, that the supreme being has smiled down upon you. For to have bestowed unto you, a friend from the

very city I am currently typing from, is no doubt Providence. You, Sir, are destined for greatness, merely by the fact that an person

from Escondido touched tour life.

Sorry my pretentious Californian alarm just started going off and it won't turn off. Probably one too many Prius drivers running around hotboxing on their own farts on the way to Ikea. lol rofl-3.gif

East coast here, Columbia, SC to be exact, but I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. I do not, however, own a cowboy hat.

I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but you just described one of my favorite "South Park" episodes.

If this is true, just the apparent respect for "South Park", will allow me to grant you a fellowship in the Great Nation, That Is California.

Welcome in, my brother trucker. rofl-1.gif

I DOUBLE CHECK AND TRIPLE CHECK SPELLING AND GRAMMAR IN THE BODY OF EVERY POST.

I WILL FROM NOW ON DOUBLE CHECK THE TITLES AS WELL.

THANK YOU FOR THE KIND, CONSTRUCTIVE, CRITICISM.

tHOUGH WE COME FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, WE DO MAKE COMMON "MISTEAKS"..... thank-you-2.gif

Unions ...... Good or bad??

double-quotes-start.png

My first experience with a union was when I was a kid. My dad belonged to the Teamsters and one year they voted the union out. Their pay froze for like 12 years. Now I know you all are thinking that is bad but here is the thing, all the other bed bugging companies had to go back to work after the strike for $4 per hour less than they were making before the strike. My dad was making the same money.

My second experience was when I worked for the phone company. Yeah the benefits were great but I was making the same money installing and upgrading the latest and greatest hardware and software while someone that could barely install an analog phone would get paid the same as I did.

Unions do not foster an environment that encourages you to better yourself. There is absolutely no incentive for you to be the best that you can be at your job.

I also don't agree with their politics. Luckily I was in a right to work state and did not have to pay the dues.

Unions are the reason for the work conditions that we have today. In their time they were needed. Today they are not need as much because of the laws on the books. Unions are also the reason that many jobs have been driven overseas. I don't begrudge companies for making money, if you want to make that kind of money you need to stick your neck out like they have.

Personally I have no use for a union.

This is the shortest comment I have made on this site to date: I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU JUST SAID. dancing-banana.gif

Sorry folks, I just realized that I might be contradicting some of my other posts.

KNOW YE ONE AND ALL, UNIONS, IN MY OPINION, BAD BAD NOT GOOD GOOD.

You will find other posts of mine where I state,

"IF ALL US TRUCKERS COULD JUST SET ASIDE OUR PETTY DIFFERENCES AND ACT AS ONE BODY, WE COULD RULE THE WORLD" I did not mean this as support for any union, just pointing out the POWER we could have if we wanted. We are the true "SLEEPING GIANT" and someday we will awaken and roar. I just hope it happens before the unions or government find me and silence me. Keep on Keeping on Brother Truckers,

I'm Jerry Escondido and I approved this propaganda.

There are no intelegent life forms born North or East of California........Yeah I said it!!!

Too many serious posts just after Thanksgiving. Please allow me to lighten things up a little. Where do all you USA citizens from? I'll start....

I come from a small country that boarders the United States of Arizona, Nevada, on our eastern side and the state of Oregon, at our northern border. My country is, of course, "The Great Sovereign Nation of California". Yes, I said, "The Great Sovereign Nation of California" .

I was born in the southern most region of my country, Southern California, Brawley, to be exact. I lived there until I was 8 years old. It was at this point my family won the "Great California Relocation Lottery" and we were allowed to move to the northern portion of our country, The Great San Francisco Bay Area San Mateo, to be exact. Lived there until I was 16.

It was at this point that, God himself, along with a host of angels, came to my family one Monday night, during half time of a 49ers game and asked, "Would you all like to be my neighbors and live in the most incredible land in the universe, second only to Heaven itself". Turns out, God is from California as well, I should have known. Well, heck YES we said.

So we move back to the southern region of my country, Southern California, Escondido, to be exact.. Now I am not exaggerating one bit. In Escondido, the streets are paved with gold, milk and honey spring forth from every fountain.

For me, as a 16 year old, young man just discovering the beauty of the fairer sex, every woman was beautiful. Of course, I could be a little biased here, I love ALL women. I believe, there is no such thing as an ugly woman, some are just a little prettier than the others. I don't mean just blonds. I mean blonds, red heads, auburn, platinum blond, and my favorite, HAIR AS BLACK AS COAL. It don't matter if they are skinny as a rail, I'll treat them to breakfast, lunch and dinner until they blossom into that curvaceous body I can't resist. If they are already big, bold, and curvy sexy, lucky me. Whoa!!!! Got side tracked. Sorry

Now, I have ventured far from the shores of my Homeland. I have been to your eastern USA, I have been to Europe and Central America. But no matter where I go, I know who and what I am,

I am a citizen of Escondido, from the county of San Diego, located in the southern region, of the "The Great Sovereign Nation of California"

where are you from my friend??????????

Speeding ticket

I would say if you have not already done it sign up for one of the ticket defence programs. You can find them at most truck stops, the one I have will fight past tickets if they have not already been taken care of. Then fight your ticket it might be 1st one, but you don't want to get a 2nd one next month for something. Then you have 2 tickets on your record. If you can get the first one reduced or dismisised, then your just fighting the next ticket. Its your license and your living defend it as such.

You just said the MAGICAL words, " Its your license and your living defend it as such." Enough Said.....
