One Section Only of High Road

Thanks ChickieMonster, Jim J & Brett:

Now that I am solely testing on Logbooks, I am doing so much better!!! I am trying to get a better understanding of that before I start trucking school on Mon.

Karen

You can do a couple of things to prevent the review questions from showing. One was mentioned - you can do the questions only in either of two review sections we have or use our Android mobile app for review questions:

You can also simply logout of our system and use the training program that way. If you're not logged in you won't get any review questions. You'll only get questions from the page you're on. Of course it won't keep track of your score that way or give you review questions from other pages in the section you're working on.

You can also reset your score. That will start you over with a clean slate and no review questions from other sections.

I would highly recommend you keep doing the review questions as they come up though. That's how you learn is through repetition. If you're to the point where you really understand all of the materials and you're getting every review question correct it still won't take but 10 or 15 seconds per page to do the review questions from prior sections. So you really won't be saving yourself much time, if any, and you're losing out on a great chance to reinforce the materials that much better.

Roehl Company-Sponsored Program - Day to Day

Thomas:

Wow!!! Your class is fast moving, which is wonderful. You guys are testing early

Are you ready for your testing?

Karen

So today our class is now officially down to 4 people. And we will be testing next wednesday. We started off the morning doing our pre trips. Then spent the rest of the morning practicing all our backing until lunch. After lunch we did our pre trips again. Then took turns driving for the rest of the afternoon. Finished the day with our post trips and back to the hotel. Half day tomorrow being spent in the classroom

Rick:

Mine was a big, blank thing. All it had on it were the trucking companies that had checked my background.

Sam:

Sorry to hear that. Sometimes instead of going in a straight line to get what we want, we go in a circle. I call it the scenic route. I had to do it myself w/my trucker career choice.

I received my HireRight a few days ago. Nothing scandalous lol

Take care & let us know if u find a job at another trucking company

I don't know if you have to sign in or if you have to start the test first but try this. I just click on the link labeled "The High Road Online CDL Training Program" and it takes me to a page that lists all of the sections individually. I can then click on any page within the sections as well.

Try this link:

Jim J:

Thx. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I was doing it the way you said & I also get questions from what I already tested on.

I am trying to hit the Logbook section only cause I am very confused about that. I get on a semi roll & I get questions from all the other sections also.

Click on CDL training materials tab at top of home page. Scroll down, click CDL practice tests, choose a category. I just tried it and it worked for me. I hope that helps.

Tractor Man:

Thank you, I knew there had to be a way lol.

One Section Only of High Road

Hello. Someone else asked a great question on here. Is there a way to concentrate on just one portion of the High Road Training Program? I wanna concentrate solely on Logbook & Pre Trip before trucking school starts.

Thanks for any assistance.

Roehl Orientation on the 21st

Got a call from the recruiter at Roehl this morning, and have all the paperwork needed to get that rental car picked up tomorrow evening. I asked about bringing my compliment of "trucking gear" with me to orientation. Bring it now, or get it later? She told me to bring it with me. I hope the rental car is large enough! I over-prepare....

Charles:

I replied to the wrong post lol. When I thought I was gonna train outta state (WI), I was gonna bring my own car. I bring everything but the kitchen sink. I would need my own bus.

Roehl Orientation on the 21st

Four months ago I was in the same boat. Just take it one day at a time and you should make it just fine.

Charles:

Thx: I gotta remember to pace myself lol.

Roehl Company-Sponsored Program - Day to Day

So this morning we met in the classroom. Then spent the morning in the simulator doing hazard driving (weather, construction). Then took lunch. After lunch we went out to the trucks. Did our pre trip. Then for the afternoon our instructors did a surprise pre test on our driving and backing (for testing out early next) everything went well. The 4 of us should be testing next wednesday. Just have a couple things to work on before test day. Got done with that, did our post trip, and it was time to go back to the hotel

Thomas:

Wow, you & your class rock. Congrats!!!
