Roehl Company-Sponsored Program - Day to Day
Thomas:
Wow!!! Your class is fast moving, which is wonderful. You guys are testing early
Are you ready for your testing?
Karen
So today our class is now officially down to 4 people. And we will be testing next wednesday. We started off the morning doing our pre trips. Then spent the rest of the morning practicing all our backing until lunch. After lunch we did our pre trips again. Then took turns driving for the rest of the afternoon. Finished the day with our post trips and back to the hotel. Half day tomorrow being spent in the classroom

Mine was a big, blank thing. All it had on it were the trucking companies that had checked my background.

Sorry to hear that. Sometimes instead of going in a straight line to get what we want, we go in a circle. I call it the scenic route. I had to do it myself w/my trucker career choice.
I received my HireRight a few days ago. Nothing scandalous lol
Take care & let us know if u find a job at another trucking company

I don't know if you have to sign in or if you have to start the test first but try this. I just click on the link labeled "The High Road Online CDL Training Program" and it takes me to a page that lists all of the sections individually. I can then click on any page within the sections as well.
Try this link:

Thx. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I was doing it the way you said & I also get questions from what I already tested on.
I am trying to hit the Logbook section only cause I am very confused about that. I get on a semi roll & I get questions from all the other sections also.

Click on CDL training materials tab at top of home page. Scroll down, click CDL practice tests, choose a category. I just tried it and it worked for me. I hope that helps.
Tractor Man:
Thank you, I knew there had to be a way lol.

Hello. Someone else asked a great question on here. Is there a way to concentrate on just one portion of the High Road Training Program? I wanna concentrate solely on Logbook & Pre Trip before trucking school starts.
Thanks for any assistance.

Got a call from the recruiter at Roehl this morning, and have all the paperwork needed to get that rental car picked up tomorrow evening. I asked about bringing my compliment of "trucking gear" with me to orientation. Bring it now, or get it later? She told me to bring it with me. I hope the rental car is large enough! I over-prepare....
Charles:
I replied to the wrong post lol. When I thought I was gonna train outta state (WI), I was gonna bring my own car. I bring everything but the kitchen sink. I would need my own bus.

Four months ago I was in the same boat. Just take it one day at a time and you should make it just fine.
Charles:
Thx: I gotta remember to pace myself lol.

So this morning we met in the classroom. Then spent the morning in the simulator doing hazard driving (weather, construction). Then took lunch. After lunch we went out to the trucks. Did our pre trip. Then for the afternoon our instructors did a surprise pre test on our driving and backing (for testing out early next) everything went well. The 4 of us should be testing next wednesday. Just have a couple things to work on before test day. Got done with that, did our post trip, and it was time to go back to the hotel
Thomas:
Wow, you & your class rock. Congrats!!!

One Section Only of High Road
Thanks ChickieMonster, Jim J & Brett:
Now that I am solely testing on Logbooks, I am doing so much better!!! I am trying to get a better understanding of that before I start trucking school on Mon.
