Thanks Paul, even tho I got frustrated I laughed at myself several times during the day. I know if anyone was watching they wondered what was I laughing so hard about.

I'm not a rookie yet, but I am very thankful for this site. It and everyone here has been a great deal of help in making my decision even if it was on someone else's question.
Thanks Brett for creating it this is truly the best source for new drivers and those looking to get into the trucking business, and thanks to everyone especially all of the moderators the advice you all give is the best, and Not to mention the honest truth..
Even tho I haven't finished it yet the high road training is great it helped me get my permit and my endorsements.
All the info on schools and companies is the absolute best available anywhere on the web.
Again thank you to everyone on here and especially the moderators, and experienced drivers as well. Looking forward to changing my status to rookie driver.

Well week one is in the books, and let me say it's been full of ups and downs.
Wednesday we hit the driving range with straight line backing. Took me a couple of times but I got it pretty quick we tested that afternoon all but one of us passed.
Thursday the instructor had one more test for straight line he passed. First break we received the pre trip tested two hours later on in cab and air brakes. Again all of us passed but one.
Friday we hit the skills range for offset backing and 90 degree dock. Let me just say I didn't realize you could get a truck and trailer in those kind of predicaments... Lol
Can we say frustrated several times I had that truck twisted up like a pretzel. By the end of the day I was able to get one side of the offset with a pull up. I will conquer both...
Today we were back in the class room for map reading and trip planning interesting learned a few things I didn't know.
All in all it has been a good week that has confirmed that I definitely made the right decision can't wait for Tuesday when I can get back behind the wheel.
