Orientation Complete

Thanks Andy, I appreciate. I did my CDL training in Yuma, AZ. Yuma Truck Driving School. Werner Enterprises Home is actually in Omaha Nebraska. We just did our orientation at the Phoenix Terminal due to it being the closest to my home. Good luck to you. Mark

Orientation Complete

Completed orientation with Werner Enterprises today, now just hanging out at the Hotel in Phoenix, AZ waiting for a Trainer/Mentor to become available. Looking forward to getting back on the road to get this training/mentoring section done. Hope you all are having a great Labor day weekend. Mark

What to bring on the road?

PR, No problem at all. Believe it or not I do understand your point and I can see how some of the experienced veterans could get sick of weeding through "us newbies" ? after ?. I am SO thankful for the people that do take the time with things like this. I entered CDL school approx. 3 weeks ago and I now have my CDL with all the endorsements in hand after a ton of work on my instructors and my part. I don't and won't take any of this for granted as things can happen so damn fast with all the weight we're hauling that sometimes I ask a simple question before doing my part in the research dept. Thank you all again, I do appreciate it more than you know. Mark

What to bring on the road?

I will be heading to Phoenix on the 29th of this month to start orientation with Werner Enterprises. This might be a silly question but what are the most important items to bring with. I will have 2 days of class room style orientation and then be introduced with my Trainer and continue right into 275 hours of driving training. Some things I feel are obvious (CDL, SSN Card, Clothes, Money for the next 6 weeks, Boots, Tennis Shoes, Prescription Glasses/Sunglasses, Jacket, Hat Ibuprofen) I am now looking for the not so obvious things. I know I won't have much space for lots of things so looking for the expert tips on here again. Use a suitcase or duffel bag? Thank You in advance for sharing your advice with this. Mark

"I Passed :-) "

Thanks Daniel, Tanya and Tracy I appreciate it very much. Tracy, you're welcome and I did enjoy serving my country. I was stationed with a Helicopter Squadron in Norfolk VA. Enjoyed it but not a career for me obviously. lol Thanks for serving yourself.
