I took my pre-trip, basic control and road test this morning and passed! I aced my pre-trip and much to my surprise managed to peg the 90 with just one pull-up and one g.o.a.l. What an instant rush of relief, thank you all for this site and words of wisdom scattered throughout it.

I start orientation with System Transport here in Spokane WA on the 26th, flat-bedding the 48 and Canada.

Thats great news Jason, Glad the forum and the rest of the site were able to help you along your way. Is System Transport a local company up there in Washington? Congratulations on passing your test and your new job, now comes the fun part getting to drive and getting paid for it.

I think is pretty awesome that we had 2 guys pass their road test in the same day.

Great job and congrats!!!

Just remember, when you get out there...there is NO LIMIT on Get Out And Looks....USE THEM! I've gotten out and looked as many as ten times ... and it doesn't matter if you are in a truck stop and worried about the other drivers looking. In fact, Truck Stops are where many accidents if not most happen. This morning I was in Texas and a driver backed into another guy's tractor and creased it from the fuel tank to the top of the sleeper. He didn't Get Out And Look even once...and tried to drive away.

Accidents happen when you get ****y and complacent.
