Diesel shortage especially out east

This had some interesting explanations for why it's happening worse in that region:

C.R. England Nightmare Experience (True Story, Need Help! Nondrug User Tested Positive!)

Second, I was at a school, I was not working for the company therefore it was not part of any employment history. So when I am asked, "have you ever failed a drug screen from previous employment" I can honestly answer no. It was not on my DAC report nor was it on my Clearinghouse.

If you're lucky, TMC won't report the failed drug test, but if for some reason they really don't eventually report it, it won't be because of the above.

https://www.hireright.com/transportation/solutions/verifications/dac-report-employment-history-file

The DAC report provides information on the period of service, equipment operated, loads hauled, driver status and experience, reason for leaving, rehire eligibility, number of accidents with accident detail, drug and alcohol histories including pre-employment test results, and truck driving school performance records.

Unfortunately if you really were clean, there's always the chance they'll get around to adding it to your DAC report, at which point your company will probably terminate you, for failing the test and for not disclosing it. I've read on here that it's happened like that before to people.

Looking at different companies

I had a look at Knight but it doesn't look like they accept applications from my area based on the information here.

Many of the company profiles are probably out-of-date, so it'd be good to talk with recruiters about details like that. I checked here on Hirschbach after reading about them on Freightwaves; the profile says they have 700 trucks and require one-year experience, but now they have 2000 drivers and their own in-house paid CDL training. Their website says they pay during orientation and training as well, so search for them too, in threads here people said they're great.

If it turns out that I cannot prove my innocence, well, I will just have to stick with companies who do urine tests

My impression from what I've read here on the forum is CRE will put your positive test on your DAC report so other companies will find it, regardless if it was non-DOT or if it was pre-employment.

https://www.pittsburghfamilylawfirm.com/forced-take-drug-test-family-court/ A Pennsylvania judge can order you, the other parent, or both of you to submit to a urine, blood, nail, or follicle test. Each of these tests is performed differently and can detect alcohol or an illegal substance in your system for a different duration of time. A hair follicle test provides the longest history of drug use.
https://mymodernlaw.com/drug-testing-arizona-family-court/ However, courts may order a party to complete a hair follicle test. The urine sample provides results based on up to three days of drug or alcohol use. The hair follicle test can provide results from up to 90 days.
https://law.justia.com/cases/texas/court-of-criminal-appeals/2019/pd-0711-17-0.html The State presented evidence that the other children in Appellant’s care at the time of C.F.’sdeath also received doses of the drug. The parents of each child testified that their children were inthe care of Appellant, that they submitted hair samples for testing, and that after theyreceived thehair follicle test results, theystopped supporting and contacting Appellant. The State’s medicalexpert provided the actual results of the testing, which showed that each child had diphenhydraminein their hair samples that correlated with the time that theywere at Appellant’s daycare.

Hair follicle tests aren't used in legal proceedings.

How so? I thought that hair follicle tests were for the exacting reason, to put a 'time stamp' on the drug use. (ie: if the client has been using over a period of time, even up to (and past) a year.) It would go back farther than three weeks, no?

The new test would also go back more than three weeks, but how would you know the drug use that showed up last time wasn't at the very end of how far back it could go? Three weeks later, the hair sample might no longer show drug use, but that couldn't rule out the possibility that it really was there last time.

It has been 3 weeks now since I was discharged from CR England.

Even if your new test comes back negative, too much time has passed for it to have any power of suggesting the previous one may have been inaccurate. If you are being honest, you've unfortunately waited too long to do anything about it.

So unless she slips and tells me that she was desperate to keep me, so she tried low dosing me to get me hooked or something like that

From how it sounds, she's able to keep her drug use from interfering with her job as a nurse in a hospital, so she's probably not stupid enough to waste her drugs giving you an addiction you wouldn't know about so that you somehow magically wouldn't leave her.
