How the Hail have I never tried this

yeah I usually stick with Walmart snacks like potato wedges, popcorn chicken, Nathan's hot dogs, etc and I keep my fridge full of premade salads, milk, and water. I will admit monster and cappuccinos are my guilty pleasure have them a couple times a day, the hot foods from Walmart like every other day, and snacks from truck stops are rare because I like to get fuel and get out of dodge.

Ps congratulations on weight loss after! Do you still drink monsters?

Monsters and pizza. Late night snack of champions. Careful with those monsters man. Terribly unhealthy. Add pizza in the mix you’ll pack on the weight like I did. Loves and Casey’s have some good food. Luckily I lost it all pretty quick.

How the Hail have I never tried this

My world just been opened. I was running low on energy and diesel. It was late last night and I needed a energy drink, something to eat, and some fuel. First went to the loves and the time all the fuel lines packed with a line went across the street to Casey's my first time there and got a Monster energy, a slice of sausage pepperoni pizza, and about 400 buck worth of fuel.

There pizza is to DIE FOR. The best pizza I have ever ate. 10 out of 10 recommend if you haven't tried it. Improved this trip a lot and not sure how I have never stopped at a Casey's before but glad I did.

Have you guys tried there pizza and what are your thoughts?

CB Handle

mine is boxy sounds like a girl one tho but I am with UPS

Anyone on here still use a CB handle? Of course you're going to need a CB first, then someone else needs to pick out your handle. You cannot pick your first moniker on your own.

Obviously, mine is "PackRat", but I've been thinking of changing it to "Hugh Jass".

Why why why

Background knowledge: I do most of my loads in a few east coast states. Most commonly TN, GA, AL, KY, NC, SC, AK, and VA. Every now and then I would get a load that throws me up like Texas, Seattle, Illinois, Wyoming, etc

I just went up north via I 80 and had so many delays like load 3 days late and so many idiots on the road it was crazy got so excited to be sent back to SC and now picked up a load bright and early going right outside of Chicago IL! Back up north

Anyone up there currently how bad is the delays? Really don't like going up north in December through February but you know how it is.

I did get a cool photo for you guys tho.

I blew the air horn...... At a state trooper

Well let me start off by saying I didn't get pulled over and no trouble. I was cruising down I 80 through Wyoming. Going 60 reduced speed for weather in the right lane. This Chrysler town and country blows my doors off and passes and pulls into the right In front of me. I don't care I know he going hella faster then me as mentioned previously I have a tiny radar in the front of my truck so I can see the speed of the vehicles in front of me well he was going 92.. 93..94 then out of range.

Here is where the story gets interesting. This state trooper in the pitch black shoulder pops out going 12 like 15 ft in front of my truck. Slammed then brakes all the way down blew the horn sub consciously and swerved into the shoulder to avoid collision then flipped it lights on and speed up. Saw him later after getting back on with the van pulled over I moved to the left as I passed and he nodded at me kinda expected 10min later that he was going to be behind me. Never blew the horn at a cop much less a trooper.

Take it to court the judge hopefully will have sympathy and not end your career for a genuine mistake. My full support to you! I will keep my fingers crossed for your career! Hang in there and update us soon!

Keeping the truck cab from rocking while parked (Odd Question)

where can I get one of those signs rofl-3.gif rofl-3.gif

Most, if not all, tractors will rock in even a moderate wind, so I don’t think you can prevent the rocking when doing vigorous exercise. As was suggested, lowering the landing gear may help somewhat. You could experiment with that. And you need one of those signs that say: “If this truck’s rocking, don’t come knocking.” Lol.

Long waits and update

thank you so much

When I read your post about your accident, my heart hurt for you, just out of human compassion. I didn't post anything in response because I couldn't think of something to type that wouldn't sound too shallow for what you were experiencing.

One driver to another, I am glad that you made out to the other side with your head high. Keep doing what you are doing and trusting those who care about you most.

Audio books

I mostly just listen to my music playlist sometimes I listen to mentour pilots aircraft accident videos (just listen of course not watch) and there always interesting explains the mechanism/engineering/ and aerodynamic physics that causes the accident while keeping in mind human behavior and how people respond to issues that come up.
