My world just been opened. I was running low on energy and diesel. It was late last night and I needed a energy drink, something to eat, and some fuel. First went to the loves and the time all the fuel lines packed with a line went across the street to Casey's my first time there and got a Monster energy, a slice of sausage pepperoni pizza, and about 400 buck worth of fuel.

There pizza is to DIE FOR. The best pizza I have ever ate. 10 out of 10 recommend if you haven't tried it. Improved this trip a lot and not sure how I have never stopped at a Casey's before but glad I did.

Have you guys tried there pizza and what are your thoughts?

They do have good pizza, its just usually very greasy. Not something I want to eat without quick bathroom access.

Pizza is not something I should eat because I’m on a very restricted starch diet. Once in a while I get a piece and just eat the toppings then have to throw away the crust. Bummer

When I did eat pizza, Pizza Hut pan pizza was my favorite by far. I was given a slice of Chicago style pizza not too long ago and it was outstanding.

There is a lot of convenience store and truck stop pizza thrown in dumpsters because they can only keep it out for so long. So if you’re in to dumpster diving……. Go for it.

Caseys is by far the best gas station pizza. I'd even say it's better than Pizza Ranch and Dominos. Caseys is our go to when we want pizza. It's the only place in town to get pizza, however I still prefer papa johns but that's 20 miles away so unless I'm passing through around dinner time we don't eat it. Caseys taco pizza is delicious. Never understood the idea of breakfast pizza til I tried theirs either. Bonus points that caseys is starting to open even more truck stops.

I'll still take Kwik Trip/Star over caseys any day for everything non pizza.

Made the mistake of grabbing a slice of BBQ beef pizza once in Bethany MO. That was one of the closest calls in a truck I've had to code brown rofl-3.gif

Monsters and pizza. Late night snack of champions. Careful with those monsters man. Terribly unhealthy. Add pizza in the mix you’ll pack on the weight like I did. Loves and Casey’s have some good food. Luckily I lost it all pretty quick.

Nope. Rosatis' in Minooka IL, hands down. I don't typically go for deep dish, because I find it pretty dough-ey and raw in the middle. This? *Chef's Kiss* perfect. I didn't try the cannoli, as I was stuffed after one slice, and sadly forgot to put it in the fridge.

yeah I usually stick with Walmart snacks like potato wedges, popcorn chicken, Nathan's hot dogs, etc and I keep my fridge full of premade salads, milk, and water. I will admit monster and cappuccinos are my guilty pleasure have them a couple times a day, the hot foods from Walmart like every other day, and snacks from truck stops are rare because I like to get fuel and get out of dodge.

Ps congratulations on weight loss after! Do you still drink monsters?

No. I was drinking Celsius drinks for awhile. Now I’ve been drinking a drink by Prime energy. It has 200 mg of caffeine and 300 mg of electrolytes. They are a relatively new and not in gas stations yet I don’t think. I also make sure to drink plenty of water.
