Look everywhere, ahead, mirrors, and even over your left shoulder out your widow. I've been run off the road and almost hit because drivers look in the mirror but fail to look over their left should. Good luck.

CDL when out of State???? What about all the Federal crap?
You will actually sign a form stating that you are a nonresident, going to school. Your home address will still be used on the form but the school MAY use their address to get your permit. The person giving the CDL tests came to the school Driver's Solution and when you pass you then go to the DMV and have your eyes examined and photo took to get your permit. Your physical exam has already been done and passed when you get this far.

If you go with Pam in Indiana at Drivers Solution you will get an Indiana license. It's because of the road test to get your CDL Class A license. You will then go home and get your home state license back.

I would call to be sure, like you said you don't want to waste your day. You can also go online, make an appointment, will save you hours sitting and waiting. I downloaded the trucking CDL study program to my Android and studied while waiting. Helped me pass with a very good score. : )

I have my FL CDL Class A Permit but have been told I'll have to get whatever state the school is in's license to get the actual CDL Class A license because of the driving test. In July I was told that was going to change. May help you in the long run to have the knowledge but money wise will be cheaper to wait to get the license in the school's state.

I have CDL Class B and a permit to get my Class A, where do I go from here to get the experience?
Cole, Prime is out of Missouri. Google Prime Inc., they have a website. Love the purple truck, lol. Only draw back for me is I won't be coming close to home very often. I was almost told that they don't hire out of my area. I want to work so getting home won't be a problem unless my parents get sick, Dad's 87 and Mom's 82. Study for your CDL here, you won't go wrong. I made a 100 on my tanker test because I was studing with TT while waiting for my number to be called. I downloaded it onto my Android tablet. Good luck. Have fun with this because it will get tough ounce you get behind the wheel. Study hard and pay attention to detail.

Central, Prime, or Stevens? ??
No I have not been through truck driving school but I have my CDL Class A permit with tanker endorsement because I took the tests here. I've been talking with a recruiter for Prime and have been told there is no school. I'll have to get a Missouri license, pass another DOT physical, get their CDL Class A permit, and then hit the road with a trainer. True or False, anyone know, that's been there done that?

Looks like Prime Trucking will be the company that I'm going with, no school, just hands on experience with a trainer for however many months. I now have a tanker endorsement on my CDL Class A permit.

The time is nearing
I had an appointment set up to get my TWIC started but the recruiter at Prime told me to wait til I got to Missouri and get it there. She also said I'd be doing all the testing for the Missouri CDL Class A permit because of the road test to turn the permit into a license.
