Shifting Gears!!!

I'm a new driver and would like to know do all trucks shift the same? Is it a situation where if you have shifted one you've shift them all and if given a different truck do you just get in and your flow of shifting doesn't change no matter if its a Freightliner, International, volvo, etc?
