Rookie driver becoming a owner operator without hesitation

All the doubters saying you barely make more? Lol that's a lie. Im in the left lane steam rolling past company drivers for over a dollar per mile. My overhead is paid in one load. If you have some balls you make a lot more money as a owner operator.

Ive been on this site before I ever even gained my cdl A. You see a lot of people on here talk about what they are going to do and blah blah. The ones posting the most don't even earn their cdl. They're too busy rambling. I got mine like I said I was going to do. I now have over 10000 miles of strictly north Carolina to maine and back. Ive drove 220 81 84 95 684 91 87 and whatever you call all those routes im sure I did them all so on and back and then back again. Went through gw and tapazee. Will I be a owner op? Yes. Will I be successful? Yes. Just drive the dag on truck and make money man. Too many people think way to much into this. Be safe and just drive the truck man. I mean this isnt rocket science. Should I be owner op or not lol? I think so

The instructors had a lot of experience and they provide you with all material and equipment necessary to get your cdl. You also get a good amount of time driving around the city and on highways.

I aced the entire course and passed dmv first try. I saw a lot of guys come and go from that place. Reality is that many will pass and many will fail. The instructors teach you how to drive a 18 wheeler and pass your dmv test. Do not overthink anything and apply yourself. Nobody is going to hold your hand. You need the initiative to pass the school and dmv. If you have questions you better ask a instructor. It was sort of a stressful 3 weeks but im glad its over.

DMV combination testing ridiculous!

I also used the skip feature. I actually passed my cdl general and airbrakes first try which I thought I had failed or barely passed. It took me 3 times to pass combo. Those questions are hard in their designed format. The answers are also tricky. Those tests are definitely challenging. No stupid easy answers or guesses on those like the old driver license questions used to be.

DMV combination testing ridiculous!

I just passed combo at dmv. Now off to school I go. I was a bit harsh and just a little frustrated. I had studied two different materials before using the high road. Regardless this site has a ton of information for new truckers to get started on there trucking career. I didnt understand the halting and missing the same question because I was flying through and trying to gather as much material as I could right before the test.

DMV combination testing ridiculous!

If I am halted and I already passed cdl and air brakes I can no longer focus on the study guide for combination or any endorsements. I have to answer a ton of questions I already know to get back into the combination study guide. Why is this? Or is it just my android?
