What does a quarantine due to coronavirus mean for truckers?

Ty sir im sick but im fine i by no means am tryin to enhance the fear i will update as it either pro or regresses so far its very much like the 2 other times ive had the flu the fear of it seems to be the unknown as its brand new virus structured very different from its predecessors and its known ability to trznsfer easily even from a nonsymptomatic person which id say is probably the most fearful part Stay safe out there everyone

Thank you we will be fine its like a crappy flu i feel better about being home and not potentially spreading to to anyones loved ones who may not do as well as i am i think thats the misunderstanding here its not dangerous to healthy younger people but we have many many unhealthy and elderly people in the us and they all have people who love them so the naysayers arent considering that as this unfolds till it hits home and its there dear grandmother or child with asthma A lil safety care and compassion can go a long way in these times we can let it destroy this country or we can let it unite this country its our choice as citizens as an example that horrifying day the world trade center was attacked some 2600 people were killed and this country was never stronger but this virus which is likely to kill many more than that is currently dividing us i dont think our kinder ancestors would be very proud of our actions

I agree its just a flu in my opinion it is nice to see a trillion dollars a day spent in our own country rather than in a pointless unwinable war in the middle east. Its also kinda nice to see the blue collar positions like health care people store clerks and truckers become our most important commodity which in this country i believe it should be If what im saying makes no sense its cause im typing with a 103.4 fever trying to make sense of this crazy world i currently find myself in

High fever (but managing with tylenol and ibuprofin) honestly pretty much exactly like any flu ive had in my life so not some paralyzing plague the concern as they explained it to me is that once symptomatic its as much as 10’000 times more contagious i can tell you small town ny is not ready for this i had to drive to another county to get the test done and they came outside in space suits and did the tests in my pickup. My county dont have tests nor a protocol they told me public health department would be in contact which they havnt i did call them though and they gave me nys hotline number who in turn told me to call local county health department because theyve been instructed what to do so i just shook my head and gave up

Trainer kicked me off the truck tonight!

It takes a much thicker skin to make it in trucking than what im hearing here the first time a shipper or receiver loses there mind on these guys or dispatcher gets on them i hope they are capable of handleing it properly and argueing crying or having a temper tantrum is not going to work you WILL meet the rudest dirtiest meanest smelliest most dangerous people this country has to offer no thats not all truckers or shippers/receivers matter of fact it a small percentage but i promise you that youll meet both the best of the best and the worst of the worst
