O/O with Own Authority Refuses to pay wages.

The first company I started with owed me over 2000 in pay when I quit I haven't seen a dime of it I filed a unpaid wage claim with Texas workforce the state of tx has sent letters to them has tried to get my money but as of now I still haven't gotten a dime of my money if I was you I would file on him and hope for the best if you get ur money great if not then at least you tried

I have a 3 yr old son and a 6 month old daughter and my father drove a truck my hole life so I have seen both sides of it it's hard and yes he will miss a lot but in the long run he is giving them a good living by being gone people always say family 1st job 2nd I put my job first with a job my family don't eat don't have a roof over there heads or the favorite toy that they have to have good luck and best to you and urs

'Violent' criminal history and getting hired as a truck driver?

I have a back ground as big as Texas it's was hard for me but there is some who will give a rookie with no exp a chance just don't give up this August will be a year for me so I can do it with my back ground u can you just have to keep at it good luck

Portable generator question.

I have a generator on my truck and I carry a 2.5 gal gas tank on the back of my truck on the cat walk I don't put it back there when it's full my ac went out and I drive for my cousin and it took him a few weeks to get the money to fix the ac so we put a small unit n the closest n my sleeper the generator ran that I have a 3000 watt inverter it runs my tv fridge coffee pot and microwave all at the same time

Need windshield cleaning tips

Go to Walmart get a can of spray way glass cleaner it's n a light blue and white can spay ur window good let it sit for a few minutes til the foam is bout gone the wipe all the bugs always I use it all the time and it works good

Dwis and a convicted felon

If you live in the Dallas Tex area I might know a few places if not you just have to get on the Internet and look up the small companies in your area and look for the ones that have o/o no company trucks that away the owner of the truck has a some say as who drives his truck and the understan bout people's past

I have two felonies that I went to prison on both of them it's been hard one has been over 10 years the other just been 5 years no big company will hire me so you might have to go with small company or a o/o who has more then one truck that's what I have had to do places like that have pros and cons but it gets the wheels turning for you good luck hope you the best just don't give up if that's what u really want the hard work will pay off it just takes longer for us that have a bad back ground

I was looking into Boyd bro I got to talk with one of there drivers and he was with them for 5 years and he loves them and said he will be there for years to come not much info to give other then that oh he did say you can be home every weekend if u want or stay out as long as u want

I have been to prison two time and have a record as long as Tex is big and I got on with a good company they just talked to me bout to make sure I wasn't gonna be a problem and they gave me a chance it's been hard but if you put in the work it will come together good luck

Doing The Speed Limit .. Or Not?

I set my cruse on 65 even when I am in west Tex and the speed limit is 80 since I have gotten my Cdl I have changed the way I drive a lot I feel if a driver speeds he is not going to get very many more miles then what I get at 65 so I see no point in speeding
