Just recieved an email from Prime

I submitted a pre-hire about 2 weeks ago and just received an email saying to give them a called because their very interested. I don't start CDL school till Monday and wont be done till Nov 5th because I am going PT in the evenings. I do know when I talk to them I have to get my previous jobs and addy's line up in proper order. Hate to miss something or accidently leave something out just to get nailed on it later.

Do they look at app's differently if you all ready have your CDL-A and not looking to go through their school from scratch? I have also looked at Warner but weary about putting in a pre-hire because of all the neg reviews but since I live in Omaha where they are based it might be a good option. I have pre-hires at GO, Crete and schinder.

Any other advice?

My top 3 1. Prime 2. GO 3. Crete

Starting trucking school and have a location question

But since the school in NE has their own CDL driving examiner's would I have to go to IA to take the driving test and get a IA CDL-A?

Starting trucking school and have a location question

I start school this Monday, I was thinking of moving back home for 3-4 months to help save money and pay for my CDL classes, but the issue is they live in another state even though it's on the NE/IA border. Can I still take my CDL in NE even though I would be living in IA 10 mins from NE? Or would it be easier to use my Aunts addy in NE?

My student driver landed himself in hot water. Almost fired!

I think you handled it GREAT!! You laid out the law and was firm. It's his responsibility to take it from here but from his past actions he wont last long in this industry. Granted he's 22 and not much life experience but there's a difference between being irresponsible and being inconsiderate.

How to figure out address history

Ok, this my sound like a silly question but how do future employees look at addy history? One wanted 5 year history. Well in the past 5 years since my divorce. I have moved 7-8 times. Of course with that many moves I don't remember months/years.

Making a good choice?

Sounds like you have a plan, like a lot of people I also have a college education, I have a duel degree a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a masters in English. Call me Doctor. LOL but PLEASE DON'T, if I hear that one more time I think I would pull my hair out. HAHA My family always said, get a education, it's just what you do. As I type this I am getting ready to go to work and sit at my desk and join the rat race for another week, I feel I am at the top of my field and after 20+ years I am DONE!! I cant stare at the same walls, look at another set of blue prints and listen to other people bitc*ing. I start trucking school in a few weeks. I cant wait for the day I walk into my bosses office and say SEE YA!!

Sorry if I missed the post but did you find a company to work for?
