Blood Medication Pills./ Anti depressant.

I've been trying to lower my blood pressure as well. My family has a history of high blood pressure and I've been watching my diet/exercising, but does anyone have any more tips that I can use while on the road?

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE BAD OR NOT?

I've been working on my blood pressure as well. My family has a history and I've been watching my diet, but does anyone have any more tips that I can use while on the road?

Is long-haul driving health a serious issue?

I did a little research and found a pretty good article here:

http://blog.raneystruckparts.com/trucker-health/eating-healthy-on-the-road-tips-for-truckers-on-how-to-eat-right-and-stay-healthy/

Yeah, you're right Erik. I'm pretty sure keeping a cooler with fresh vegetables and fruit is the way to go.

Does anyone have any healthy food suggestions that I can eat on the road? I'm having a hard time finding options.

Traveling with a dog?

I agree with Brett. If you already had a dog you didn't want to part with that would be different, but getting one for the road could be much more of a pain than you'd think.

Been keeping busy

Keep the updates coming, Guy! It looks great. I'm in the midst of remodeling my kitchen myself.

Experiences in Gary, IN (safety)

I'm going to attend DriveCo in Gary, IN and I was thinking about temporarily renting out a room in Gary and biking to school each day (4 miles). Based on your experiences in Gary would this be a good idea? Another option I thought of was buying a car and renting a room out in on of the surrounding areas. I have a fair amount of street smarts and avoiding dangerous situations in the city/suburbia, but I'm not completely familiar with the area. What do you guys think?

I'm not too familiar with the Gary area, but coming from Chicago I can tell you that it's going to start getting chilly in the near future.
