Max, was this a local cop? Many local small municipalities do not report minor tickets. It cuts into their solitaire time on the computer.
You might have hit the nail on the head.. It was Local PD. Minot, ND police department.

Ya.. that's what I figured. I Figure the companies that want to and will dig that deep are the ones that wouldn't hire me for a ticket. I was relived to see it didn't show up on my MVR so now I can say I have a "clean MVR." Thanks for the advice.. good to see you on the old forms again!
Any one else have an experience similar to this? Its a real pickle... I always want to be honest but if my ticket doesn't show up on my MVR.. then I don't want to say I got a ticket if I don't have to.

I was issued a ticket while I was driving for the oil rigs in North Dakota.. No big deal paid my 20 dollar fine and moved on. It was a moving violation. (I was amazed the fine was only 20 bucks!) However when I pull my MVR the ticket doesn't show up. I got this ticket over 6 months ago so it should be on my MVR by now if it was to show up.
When I apply to jobs do I still need to report this ticket? Is it possible for a company to find it when its not on my MVR? I know honesty is the best policy.. But I have been turned down before from companies before because I put it down on an application. This may be a dumb question.. but O well. Maybe its because I know North Dakota is lax with its tickets? (they could view the ticket as a "parking ticket.") I don't know.. It was a newish cop who gave me the ticket.. so maybe he didn't mark down it was in a Commercial vehicle? Beats me.. these are just ideas I have. None of them are probably right.
The true question is do I report the ticket if it doesn't show up on my certified MVR report?

I've been in training for 6 months and I still can't get the hang of shifting
You can not fail a CDL exam by grinding gears.. I imagine your at a CDL school. Their whole goal is to get you to graduate with a CDL. Once you find a company to hire you that's when the real training will begin. Floating gears is a lot easier then double clutching. Just don't worry about it to much.. also I found what helped me is to watch various Youtube videos on double clutching, also to imagine yourself doing it.

I've seen guys covered in neck, face tattoos at truck stops and in trucks before. So you will be able to find companies that will hire you. Will every company hire you? No. Cause every company has a right to there own policy. But you should let your companies know while applying just to be sure. Good luck in this new path of yours!

The cottage family restaurant off exit 173 on I80 in Lamar PA. Major truck stopping exit as it has a TA, Pilot, and a Flying j.
It's family owned and operated and the grampa makes all the dessert pies homemade from scratch. Really good food at very reasonable prices.
Wow!!! I stayed there every other day for 4 months while I was working the oil fields in PA.. never went to that place. I'm disappointed.

Here's A New dash cam crash caught on roadway
Four idiots.
How many vehicles in this scene? Four.
Actually five. But the fifth one is a smart guy, the tanker. He backed off, and safely get out of it.
Hahaha I saw this. You can totally see the Tanker just back off and say "I'm out.. you idiots have fun."
