I'm curious if anyone knows anything pertaining to tattoo policies? I signed up with Swift last week, I am covered in tattoos I have them all over my face, throat, you get it. I'll have to call my recruiter and ask tomorrow, but I was just curious.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

I've seen guys covered in neck, face tattoos at truck stops and in trucks before. So you will be able to find companies that will hire you. Will every company hire you? No. Cause every company has a right to there own policy. But you should let your companies know while applying just to be sure. Good luck in this new path of yours!

One thing with having visible tattoos is, make sure your positive personality is louder than your ink even if you have to fake it. This goes for any job that might give you an interview. People instinctively form the first conclusions based on appearances, whether they want to or not. Just make sure your attitude makes the interviewer think, "I really want to work with this person."

The question is, what KIND of tattoos are they? Are they something that could be considered offensive or inappropriate?
