First Trip To Pennsylvania

Yeah sorta I run that way a lot.

My go to parking is a Marathon I 81 exit 77 next to Flying J Wytheville VA.

Great Petro I 81 in Raphine VA .. Exit 205.

Hills aren't bad.. There's construction on 81 in PA around exit 100 there's a big oikot used to be Wikco Hess that usually has parking too.

Your not going across 64 or 68 so ur good ;)

My fav stop in 81 is Raphine because of the Petro there. I love the selection of food haha!

6 months! :)

Finally hit the 6 months bein a trucker! Gosh didn't even know its 6 months already! Haha I still remember those times that I can't even do straight backing when I was in school hahaha!

I don't know how many miles I run between the 6 months period, all I knw is Im enjoying every bit of my job + lifestyle. I've been pretty much in 48 states, up to Maine ( North East ) , Florida ( South ) , Cali ( West ) and Seattle ( North West ).. As far as ya knw our company is a North East base so New York , PA , Jersey etc are pretty much regular route. Ticket Free , had one incdent last month in FL when I missed the ramp but it wasn't in my DAC. Driven dif weather condition..so much fun haha!

I am really happy & grateful. I have no complain wit my employer..they keep me busy all the time. I am looking forward spending more months and years over here in ABX.

Also thank you TT family for everything! Trucking is now my life. I also do photoblog while im in trucking hehehe. Il share the website link whenever its ready.

Here's a sweet pic of my green monster taken somewhere in Dallas Forth Worth last week!

I will keep ya all posted! Cheers! :)

No longer accident free hahaha!

My truck was towed because of the leak & need to pull it out the ramp. Company owner decision , he wants it to be fixed in the dealership to make sure leaking will be really fixed and not because of the following :

a) A fatality b) Bodily injury to a person who, as a result of the injury, immediately receives medical treatment away from the scene of the accident.

As mentioned above. No fatality , No Injured , No other vehicle involve, No Citation, No other damage in the truck except the water leak.

double-quotes-end.png

You kinda missed - C) One or more of the vehicles incurs disabling damage, requiring it to be towed from the scene.

Didn't say it WOULD SHOW UP - just that it MAY. If the sheriff wrote a REPORT on it - these get coded into the computer when they go into the system. The box(es) checked that says COMMERCIAL VEHICLE and DISABLED may automatically get this uploaded to CSA.

If you punched a hole or cracked your radiator - so the truck was not drivable - then it suffered "disabling damage".

I wouldn't be all too concerned about it. How did AMX handle the news?

Like I said - something like that could have happened to ANYONE.

With all the miles you're getting (enough to make old-timers on JohnBoys thread jealous) - they must really like you over there - so I wouldn't sweat it.

I was gonna call Rusty and ask if you could be my trainer.

Rick

Urggg yeah the Sheriff gave me a case number but she also said it won't go to my DAC? She just mentioned stuff like its their rules in FL to get info between to FL State and My Company.. So I'm confused. Well , I know but I really love my job and I am trying my best not to get ticket or accident. Well my FM said its great coz I didn't put damage aside from the leak and no injury. Safety didn't say anything to me , not even a call. They didn't even call me back after I reported it. They just said "okay" thats it.

The miles I don't have any issue with it or I can't complain. I just take whatever they wanna give me or wherever they need me. Haha trainer.. Wish I have that in mind. I really don't wanna be a trainer. I will hit my 6 months in 3 weeks & looking forward for more months and years here in ABX! :)

I'm sorry, but all I can say is - nice Volvo! I drive a VNL day cab, but your Volvo is sweet. Great trucks.

Being accident free is a really tough accomplishment. It takes caution (or practicing safe driving), skill, and luck. Sometimes accidents really are just that - accidents.

Yeah true that. Thank you! He is still in the shop. Hopefully I can roll again.
