I'll have my snake in the truck. To bad my gf can't ride along. 34 hour resets would be more interesting. har har..

I'm excited and nervous at the same time. One thing that bothers me is I hear US Xpress team drives when you're out for the 4 weeks with the trainer.. so while you're drive the trainer is sleeping. Not fond of that idea. Can any US Xpress drivers confirm this?

I start orientation with US Xpress on Wednesday the 26th at their Springfield Ohio terminal. I'll be gone for a month so I'll give you an update once I return.

I'll be living in Mokena. I've heard how bad IL is in general. The state likes to make money any way they can. I'll just keep my address at my sisters place and worry about it later this summer.

I called the Illinois Secretary of State. They confirmed new state law says to transfer your CDL from another state you have to re-test EVERYTHING. Written exams, road test, PTI, and maneuvers. What a crock of S*it.

Not married anymore. I'll be at my GF home so all utilities are in her name. I can change it over eventually I guess.

Well, Six....it probably isn't kosher...but I don't see why they want you to retest...do they mean the whole thing ?? drive test and everything ??

Yes, road test, maneuvers, PTI. That is my understanding.
