Beer in the sleeper

Thanks Pat, although I didnt want the answer. It makes no difference to me either way, all I said was the guy asked a question and nobody answered it.

You seemed to be giving him a definite answer to a pretty difficult question as fact. Even after reading the rule it seems you are giving him and now me your opinion.

Im not trying to pick a fight or ruffle feathers, I was just pointing out the OP asked a specific question and he was clearly looking for a specific rule to reference. He never said he had beer in his sleeper or that he even wanted to have beer in his sleeper. He just asked if there was a rule.

Thanks for digging it up.

Did anyone besides Brett bother to read the guys post ? He asked a very simple question and Brett is the only one who even made an attempt to answer.

If you dont know the answer, its ok to say I dont know or simply dont post in the thread.

HazMat Test

I took and passed HAZMAT and doubles, triples endorsement tests in Indiana yesterday. I went through those two sections of the High Road Training Program right here on the site once each section and passed both tests in one shot.

The program has review questions from all sections of the CDL manual built in. Go through it until you are comfortable with the review questions and you will be good to go.

Craziest places you've had to back into?

I went to the place on the other side of the little brook first hoping that was it. The lady pointed over my shoulder up the hill. Of course thats where I have to go lol. It is one of the tightest places I have gone with out a doubt. Only been there once but you dont forget places like that lol.

I got in and out of there in an International Prostar with a sleeper and a 53 foot trailer. The place is so old you cant bump the dock because there is an over hang over the dock thats too low to clear the trailer. They had to use a ramp from the dock to the trailer and load me with pallet jacks.

When I first started over a year ago I would have been terrified just getting in the driveway. Now its just all in a days work.

SWIFT in cab cameras

Tie it to my e-log so its disabled when im off duty or in sleeper birth and im fine with it. Otherwise its no different than telling me you are going to put a camera in my living room pointed at my recliner. Monitor me while im working...no problem but there are 10hrs a day that Im not.
