I am currently a haz may endorsement holder. Well my time has come for renewal. But I am a lil worried because I was convicted of an aggravated assault which is a felony but the terms of my conviction is that it will turn into a misdemeanor after 1 year probation and after completing family violence classes. Should I be worried about the tsa background check? Or will I be good since my conviction is not on the list of disqualifying convictions? Thanx in advance

i can't say for sure, but if its not a disqualifying conviction, then you'll have a 50/50 chance.. sorry I can't be more help but thats just what I think..

If you already have the hazmat , are they gonna do another background check for a renewal? I figure it would just be another fee

HAZMAT:

Hazardous Materials

Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations
