Knight does operate a CDL school, at least one. I don't know if they have one for the eastern part of the country, but there is one in Phoenix, AZ. Getting to the school and housing while there are your responsibility iirc. It lasts 3 weeks, you'll get paid $400/wk while there though. After finishing the school, you'll go out with a trainer for a month to a month and a half, then you'll be completing 30,000 miles solo as your probationary period. I can't tell you anything specific about the format of the school, I ended up not going through them for my license.

I'm currently employed by them, so if you've got any other questions, drop me an email at tyrunea@gmail.com, I don't check the website too often while on the road.
As Keith A mentioned they have a school in Phoenix. I am reporting there Monday the 25th. I would suggest calling a Knight recruiter and ask if they hire from Montana. They have a terminal in Idaho Falls that is listed on their website as an Orientation Location.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
