Thanks to all of you on trucking truth. This website has changed my life. I was living in my car with no job. Then one one day at the library filling out applications I remembered how fun truck driving sounded. But where does a broke brother get a cdl?

So I got on TT and looked at all the companies. I found one and filled out the application. I was accepted. I studied the test on the high road phone app. I read many articles.

And here I am. I still live in a vehicle. But I'm not dumpster diving for food. I get a paycheck. I travel the country. My life is way better now. Thank God for this website. It really does make a difference!

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

So happy for you!! Thanks for sharing!

I once worked at a downtown hotel and met a lot of homeless people passing through. I wish I could go back in time & pass along this story! As it was, I was unable to give advice to people whose shoes I had never worn nor walked in.

I've been having a rotten day, but you just brightened it right up.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
