I think honesty is the best policy. I had an at fault, but wasn't ticketed just over 4 years ago. The application asked about previous 5 years, so I told them. It wasn't showing up so the requested a copy of the accident report, which I provided. It was no big deal, however I bet if I'd have lied, it would have been,
simply answer exactly what they ask for but don't offer more.
