Howdy folks,

First off, great site, I've been lurking for a few months and this place has been an invaluable resource that helped me decide to pursue this career.

Quick question if anyone has experience with Roehl's get-your-CDL program. I've applied, but thus far I've only received a form email saying that there is huge demand and they'll basically contact me whenever they can, lol. Does anyone know about how long it takes? The email says they're unable to field questions about this over the phone, so I thought I'd ask for timeframes since I know at least a couple of posters here have gone through the program.

Thanks.

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.

I see. Guess I'll have to be more patient. Thanks for the response.

No worries that was the longest part everything else was pretty fast getting all the information from them. Good luck

Thanks, I've been a bit worried too. I still haven't heard from them, and it's been about a week. I was worried that they'd looked into me and found something in my history they didn't like. I haven't had a ticket in over seven years, and the only accident was just a bump that resulted in wrinkle in a bumper over ten years ago. Solid work history- Two places in the last ten years only separated by a month of not working. And I've no criminal convictions. I've been wondering what in the world they may have found. confused.gif Thanks for the reassurance: It's not me, it's them.

Give them about a week to receive your application and go through their necessary processes. If you have not heard anything from them it is completely fine to politely call once to verify the status of your application and make sure everything is good to go and on track.
