I'd like to attend National Training, Inc in Greencove Springs, Florida. I was told that they have 350 acres for there cdl training course and a mile and a half highway on those acres to train students. Training would last 1 month and the same instructors whom have been teaching the students would also be giving out the cdl exams at the end of the training. However, I'm from Georgia and I have my Georgia CDL permit, if I were to receive my class A license certificate in Florida would I have to retake the test in Georgia to receive my class A license? One of the recruiters at the school told me if I decided to come to school there in Florida to just bring my social security card and birth certificate and change my Georgia license over to Florida license until training is complete and when I come back to Atlanta, Georgia to just change back over to Georgia class A license. Can someone please help me?
