Tell him about this site and the The High Road Online CDL Training Program. IMO it is better to actually learn this info than to just study a few questions to pass a test. This is a problem that's going on in our public school system and many students that are entering college are dumber than a box of hammers. I believe the same principle applies in the real world, take time to really learn the info so you are better prepared for training. I'm currently doing the high road program, and it pretty much matches the Texas CDL manual. Been working on it in between shifts at work over the last week or so and I plan on taking my permit test fri, then start training march 14th, hopefully this will put me ahead of the game a little.
Please don't take offense to what I said (again my opinion), and I'm glad it worked out for you, but simply memorizing questions and answers won't help him learn the info that is crucial. I wish him all the luck.

I found this link a while back when I got my cdl that was about 25 questions and answers long and it had the exact questions for the Texas Permit for CDL on it. I studied it and passed in an hour, anyway if anyone knows this link please respond bc my father in law needs it. Over and out.
