Its really difficult to read your post without any punctuation.

If you paid off your suspension immediately & was reinstated, most companies will require that you hold a license a minimum of 12 months consecutively. DUI's are tricky and evaluated on a case by case basis with typically at least a 5 year minimum interval since the offense.

sorry um I know about the five years.but I was denied a job because not a DUI but a .08 achole violation.I finished my probation and was told nothing would be on my record the job that denied me said they found out threw my sr22 suspension in 2015 dose that sound right dose this mean I have to wait until that suspension is off for another 3 years or just one more year since the DUI I was not convited of was in 2012 she also said no DUI was found just a cition I'm really lost

Go to the DMV ask them to print you a copy of your driving record. See what's on there. At least you'll know the dates and if nothing else you know how long you may need to wait. In my state this copy was about $5.00. You need to relax - get a concrete plan. Also while your at it go down to the D.A."s office or the city clerk- wherever you get a copy of your criminal history/background. This will also cost you (I have no idea how much). You say this isn't on your record but they always say that. Sometimes you have to pay to have things expunged even when they say it won't be on your record.( but they don't tell you that ) (Seems odd to me you didn't get a DUI but you had your licsense suspended.) Find out what shows up on your record! That way when you've waited long enough you can investigate going to CDL school or Company sponsored school. Then when you fill out the application you'll have all the pertinent dates and background info in front of you with exact dates you don't have to guess on your application. In other words you want to find out what they're going to find out when they investigate you that way you can tell them the truth and not have any surprises bite you in the ass. Maybe in the mean time you might work on getting clean and sober if that shoe fits, otherwise your just wasting your time !

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.
