I have gone solo in a 4 wheeler cross country and have come up with some awesome ways to cook while on the road.

Engine Shish-Ka-Bobs/Hot Dogs

Wooden skewers(adventurous types use the oil dip stick) Choice of meats chicken, steak, lamb... Choice of veggies red and green peppers, onion, yellow squash... Three sheets of aluminum foil for each skewer Secret ingredient (not promoting) Montreal steak seasoning

Put food items on skewers. Liberally season to your preference. Enclose in foil, flip it over and foil again, flip and foil. Lay on the engine block while at idle for 10 min for steak, 15 for chicken. Less time for shrimp. Remove and let cool on a paper towel/plate. Enjoy.

Mind any grease on the first outside wrap of foil.
