Advice Needed Please ASAP!!

So I started class last week, never been in a tractor/trailer before other than a rider twice, I got consistently yelled at about double shifting and not getting the gears. All the while, the trainer was texting and messaging on facebook and barely lifted his head from it. This week I got a different trainer and he made more sense to me, however as I went out on the road yesterday and today, I forgot everything they were telling me or if I remembered, it wasn't good enough or fast enough. This is only my 6th day in the tractor, but today I was given until Friday to get it together... Help!?!
Are you paying for this class? Who through? Shifting has been hard for me, but it has gotten better. All my trainers have been kind and understanding. It's not so much how you screw up, but how you fix your screw up.
TWIC:
Transportation Worker Identification Credential
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

I also had a bad experience at a school, the trainers would yell, threaten or whatever and of course, most of us don't learn like that. I shut down and can't concentrate. I (along with others) left that school as soon as we could. I ended up at a different school that was wonderful and I know have my CDL.

CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
