Hello, I am a graduate from a local college. So I have no experience driving cmv's. I started orientation on may 23rd and ended on may 26th( so orientation was four days long). So first day we filled out paperwork. Then started a long quest on video watching. Mostly three days of video's. We went to local shipper (lowes) and watch their operations. Did a road test on the third day. The fourth day we did more paperwork and going over rules of company. They have $500 orientation and sign on bonus. Stay on bonus and also referral bonus ($3200). This is a flatbed company and a very small town feel company. As of right now I love the decision I made coming here. In 6 months I am able to transfer to local board. I will try to update on my progress with company and trainer. Happy hauling everbody.
