OK...I don't want anyone on here to think that any of us, including me, would pick on anyone...Brett would haveta put on his Boss hat, and put us in our place ...... So its all good....I admit, I have a twisted, weird sense of humor sometimes.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Psh I probably have more of twisted sence of humor. Even ask the new york dot officer that got to deal with me today. I am lucky I didnt get a fine or get shut down for some reason he didnt like me.

Running oversize loads and trying to be funny with dot not recommended.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

For any of you that have that rubber mat flooring in the truck - use a can of that tire spray stuff you get from Walmart on it and it will shine like you wouldn't believe. I used to put a piece of carpet down in most trucks but if I was using the stock rubber flooring I would break out the tire spray.

Thanks Brett! Of all the products I have tried on this floor I have never thought of the tire shine. Even though I have 2 cans in the side box. Guess I know how I'm spending the morning.
