And people say Stevens doesn't run hard. Lol good job!

Stevens does not push their drivers hard, from what I've seen. I push myself, and I push them. My average utilization for the last six months has been 102%. 100% utilization is 10,500 miles per month. 10,710 miles per month average.

The Stevens Transport company-wide average utilization over the same timeframe is 74% or 7770 miles per month.

So, on average, I run @3000 miles per month more than the average Stevens driver. I am constantly calling and asking for preloads when I don't have them. I bug both the planners and my DM. If I sit more than a few hours, I write horrible safe-for-work limericks and send them on the freeform response that all the office people see.

These last couple months, I suspect I'm getting miles because the planners don't want to give me an excuse to write more horrible poetry.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

That is a hilarious strategy! And effective, apparently. Hat tip.
